What are Angel Oracle Card readings?
They can be a powerful tool for those seeking guidance in their life. Like Tarot card, Angel Cards can give insight into relationships, careers and finances while giving the recipient peace of mind and confidence in their decision. They tap into Angelic presence to guide the recipient toward their best life. Readings may focus on a specific question or be more open-ended, simply honing in on a general aspect of life. They may also be effective methods of tuning into subconscious thoughts, emotions and visions that can also serve as guidance.
What are Angel Oracle Card reading methods?
Asking the cards to reveal information about a specific question is a powerful method used in readings. Those seeking a reading should not expect to receive a simple yes or no answer; instead, the cards should be used to guide the recipient toward making decision. Questions should be specific but open-ended and focus on your own actions, not those of others. For example, do not ask how you can get your mother-in-law to move out; instead ask how you can work to change your relationship for the better. Keep an open mind to receive the full benefits of your Angel Oracle Card readings.

They can also offer general guidance regarding a certain area of your life. Without asking a specific question, these readings are particularly useful when experiencing a transition in life in either your relationship, home or career.
Why Angel Oracle Cards versus Tarot?
The traditional Tarot deck consists of a total 78 cards, and it is broken up into the Major Arcana and the Minor Arcana. The Major Arcana are 22 cards of higher wisdom, numbered in ordinal fashion from zero to 21. The Major Arcana are cards of higher (or karmic) wisdom. They point to the bigger issues in our lives. The other 56 cards in the Tarot are considered the Minor Arcana – the Minors tend to be more about details within a reading. The Minor Arcana has 4 suits, and each suit consists of cards numbered Ace through 10, and has 4 court cards. Tarot cards are laid out in a number of particular configurations, called a “spread”.
Oracle decks are a little less structured. There is no set number of cards in an Oracle deck. Most of the Oracle decks I’ve personally run across consist of about 50 cards. Oracle decks often follow a theme. These themes may be about angels, cultural systems, animals, Gods/Goddesses, fairies, or affirmation/self-help. I tend to gravitate towards Angel decks, as I feel a particular closeness to the angels. I also have a few other decks that I enjoy working with. Like Tarot, Oracle decks can be laid out in spreads, but a spread isn’t necessary. Many times I’ll pull three cards for a client as a past/present/future mini-spread, but sometimes I’ll just pull one card. Again, the Oracle decks are less structured than Tarot.
Why do I only read Oracle cards?
I know a number of Tarot readers, and I respect them. They are very good at what they do. However, I don’t particularly care for Tarot. I’ve been actively reading for nearly ten years and I only use Oracle decks, mostly because the message in every single card is positive and affirming. Maybe it’s the leftovers of my religious upbringing, but I wouldn’t feel comfortable doing a reading for a client that could have any sort of negativity attached to it. My job is to bring hope and confirmation. All of my clients leave their reading feeling joyous and uplifted, and that’s the exact result I desire.
What are Angel Oracle card readings preparation tips?
Before your reading, take time to center yourself using deep breathing techniques. Find a quiet space without the distractions of television or cell phones. Ask the Angels to bless your reading and help you interpret it properly. Focus on your question and try to keep your mind still to really tap into the vibrations and energy of your reading. What you do with the information revealed is your choice and keeping your intentions pure will help guide you to the right interpretation of your reading.
How much does an Angel Oracle Card reading cost?
I can do card readings with you over the telephone, Skype, or email.
Over the phone or Skype, I do three types of readings:
1. A 10-minute reading for $20. This is a one card reading. The ten-minute readings are perfect if you have one particular question or concern that you want addressed. It’s also fun to come into a ten-minute reading with an open mind, and just see which card pops up.
2. A 30-minute reading for $45. This is a three card spread. The three card spread is for more general questions that don’t require a yes or no answer. It is also good for a past/present/future or looking ahead reading.
3. A 60-minute reading for $90. This is a five, six, or seven card spread, depending on the spread you choose. This reading is quite in-depth, and many clients like to take notes during this read to keep it fresh in their mind as we go through it.
If you would prefer an email reading, I will do a reading for you and email you the results. We can do something as simple as a one card spread, or get really involved and do a major spread. It’s totally up to you! I’ve noticed that this option is one that my introverted friends prefer. It’s a bit more anonymous and you will still get the reading you are looking for. I will email you the name of the card that is read, and the main meaning of the card. I will also include some alternate meanings that may be of interest to you. If we do a spread with more than one card, you will get all of the above for each card. Email readings are as follows:
$5 – one card
$20 – three or four cards (past/present future spread, looking ahead spread, or message from your guardian angel or spirit guide spread)
$30 – five cards (life purpose spread, love spread)
$45 – six cards (abundance spread, healing spread)
If there is a certain type of reading you would like but don’t see it here, please let me know. I would love to work with you, and am more than happy to tailor a reading to your needs.
